  • A look back at east Idaho history recalls that on Jan. 30, 1946, a Rexburg farmer named W.L. Trost was crushed on his farm one mile southwest of town while setting up his sleigh, with his body found about an hour later (according to records).  East Idaho News

  • The Pocatello bridal shop Here Comes the Bride On a Budget opened its brick-and-mortar location at 155 South 2nd Avenue last May, offering affordable wedding dresses and consignment gowns. Owner Heather Gonzalez launched the shop after her own wedding dress search in 2024 (it opened online in 2023).  East Idaho News
