- ➤ Chicken Little, a bantam rooster found running loose, is available for adoption at Pocatello Animal Services; while chickens go quickly, roosters are trickier because they can be noisy (making him best suited as a working rooster for a backyard coop). KPVI
- ➤ Hundreds enjoyed the annual Chocolate Lover's Affair at the Stephen's Performing Arts Center at ISU last Valentine's Day, sampling treats from local bakeries and listening to ISU students play live jazz + a silent auction helped raise funds for the Rotary Club with Cole Cheverolet sponsoring the event. - ➤ A local fabrication business in Blackfoot is working on a 40,000 sqft expansion to boost nuclear component production as crews work through winter — the project will be completed months ahead of schedule. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Raymond Knoff was elected chair at the School District 25 Board meeting in Pocatello (officers were chosen and the board completed its annual reorganization). Idaho State Journal

- ➤ State and local leaders paid tribute to former Rep. Linden Bateman, who died on Jan. 22 at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. Bateman served nearly 20 years in the Legislature, championed Idaho history, and helped establish March 4 as Idaho Day. Local News 8
