- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game and the Idaho Museum of Natural History are hosting a free class on wildlife winter survival on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the ISU campus (featuring a presentation and hands-on activities for all ages). East Idaho News
- ➤ PCSD 25's report shows a 54.6% overall IRI proficiency on Fall 2025 tests + a 62.5% rate in third grade, and the district ranks among top large districts with graduation rates of 89.9% in four years and 92.6% in five years. - ➤ Work is underway on the Center Street Underpass Project in Historic Downtown as crews install soldier pile shoring and prepare temporary support — pedestrian access remains open through the north tunnel for continued connectivity. East Idaho News

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Portneuf Medical Center and Bingham Memorial Hospital (in Blackfoot) launched a pilot program in June 2025 using the Crow’s Nest Biopsy Catchment System to collect extra tumor cells during biopsies.
