EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Last month, the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District agreed to a $36.1 million insurance settlement to cover damages from a 2023 fire at Highland High and will add $43 million from House Bill 521 to rebuild the affected wing. Construction on the main addition will finish in January 2027 and auditorium upgrades are set to complete in July 2027. East Idaho News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Eastern Idaho received needed snowfall early this month but by Tuesday most areas show warm, dry weather with temperatures 10 degrees above normal, and the National Weather Service expects little precipitation for the next week+ a slight chance of light snow as water managers insist the season remains in progress.
