Last month, the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District agreed to a $36.1 million insurance settlement to cover damages from a 2023 fire at Highland High and will add $43 million from House Bill 521 to rebuild the affected wing.

Construction on the main addition will finish in January 2027 and auditorium upgrades are set to complete in July 2027.
