- ➤ Reconnect Southeast Idaho is collecting donations to help Calvary Chapel repair flood damage in the basement used for Constitution Camp - donations can be sent via Venmo to @reconnectsoutheastidaho over the next two weeks. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ The city closed the Center Street Underpass to finish repairs begun last year, forcing drivers to use detour signs into downtown. Construction crews will repair retaining walls, repave sidewalks and build a new pedestrian bridge with one lane reopening after a six-week phase until late fall. East Idaho News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Those interested in local wildlife can join the Idaho Master Naturalist program at an introductory meeting on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Idaho State University in Pocatello at 7 p.m. — the program requires volunteers to complete 40 hours of education and service by year’s end.
