- ➤ Debbie Critchfield announced her re-election bid for Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction—she aims to build on gains in early reading and career training as her campaign builds toward the primary on May 19. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ Students at Chief Tahgee Elementary Academy returned from winter break to a new building next door to ShoBan High School. Funded by a $4M grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the facility includes a cafeteria and library and will support expanding academic and cultural programs. East Idaho News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Chubbuck Development Authority is launching two programs in the Yellowstone Corridor Urban Renewal District. One program will partner with property owners on redevelopment projects while the other offers aid for upgrading building exteriors + boosting local economic growth. KPVI
