  • Shoshone-Bannock author Randy’L Teton was named today as a distinguished speaker for the Idaho Humanities Council’s A250 Speakers Bureau following his 2025 book tour that reached over 3,000 students in Fort Hall — an appointment affirming his contribution to local literary education.  Idaho State Journal

  • State+federal changes to the SNAP food benefits program will update guidelines in 2026, affecting households in Pocatello. Residents should stay informed as the new rules take effect.  Idaho State Journal
  • City of Pocatello plans to mark the Declaration of Independence’s 250th anniversary with a time capsule project funded by a state grant.
