  • V3 Creations is accepting nominations for its monthly Hero Flag program in Pocatello. The custom, laser-engraved+hand-painted flags will honor a local person who has made a positive impact in our community.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
  • Authorities confirmed that Kee Ray Begay Jr., 53, went missing Dec. 21 and was found Dec. 28 near Massacre Rocks State Park—his family has launched a GoFundMe fundraiser for funeral costs and transport, clarifying earlier misinformation about his identity.  East Idaho News
  • The Light the World Giving Machines campaign wrapped up after drawing over 35,000 local visitors and collecting 32,000 donated items, with 2,300 shelter meals for Idaho Falls Rescue Mission most popular. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will audit funds and donate them to charity partners this spring.  Local News 8
  • Mountain View Event Center in Pocatello will complete a 28,000 sqft expansion of the ICCU Fieldhouse (mid-February) to host more games, tournaments, and events as it connects the new space with the older facility, according to Director of Operations Shelton Robinson.  East Idaho News
