2 at Marshall Public Library for its 50/50 Reading Challenge. The program invites all ages to set reading goals—adults aiming for 50 books in 50 weeks, teens toward 50, and children following tailored targets—with info available at 113 S. Garfield Avenue in Historic Downtown.

The Marshall Public Library launched the 2026 50/50 Reading Challenge for all ages with adults reading 50 books, teens tracking their progress, and children joining the Read Together challenge.

ISU doctoral student Rifat Ara Tasnim is researching therapeutic video games that blend cognitive behavioral therapy with VR+AR and smartphones at the RIGHT Lab on campus, aiming to show how adaptive gameplay can support emotional well-being.
