- ➤ On Christmas Day, the Secret Santa program in eastern Idaho surprised Heather — known as Sunshine — with a $1 million gift to help cover dental care and essential home repairs after financial setbacks. East Idaho News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Governor Little announced that Idaho received nearly $1B in federal funds over five years to improve healthcare access in rural counties. The award will support upgrades in technology, workforce training, and facilities as the Legislature reviews the plan. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Steel Hollow Cottage Community, a new housing development on Jefferson Avenue, nears completion with 16 unique units expected to finish in January. Six units are already rented, and those interested can apply on its website for one of the remaining ten designed for an active lifestyle + quality finishes. East Idaho News
