Celebrating Idahoans: First-Gen Week at ISU, November 2–6
Join Idaho State University for a week-long celebration of the diverse experiences, accomplishments, and contributions of Idaho’s first-generation community. Through storytelling and opportunities to connect, we’ll celebrate first-generation students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members while fostering connection, pride, and belonging.
Friday, November 6 | First-Generation Community Celebration Dinner To conclude the week-long celebration, all first-generation students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to gather in celebration in the Quad Lounge in the Student Union Building.
The evening begins with a Resource Fair from 5–6 p.m., followed by dinner beginning at 6 p.m. and a keynote address by Tracy Collum, Ed.D., Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of the Graduate School.
